Live Story Circle
An uplifting space where people from around the globe come together to share real-life stories, reflect, and grow together.
Each month, a small group joins online from different parts of the world — different backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences, all connected by the same belief that our stories matter.
It’s a place where people show up with honesty, listen with care, and come together in something simple, but often missing - presence, understanding, growth and a sense that you’re not alone.
Together, we listen to one story from the Daily Inspired Life community, witness the storyteller, and take some time to reflect on how it touches our own lives. You’ll leave with a renewed sense of connection, and a deeper understanding of your life, and how your story is unfolding.
There's no fixing or analysing here, and no pressure to say the "right" thing.
Just people, showing up for each other, honoring each other's stories.
If you’ve been longing for a space that feels supportive, uplifting, and human, you’re welcome here.

You might be wondering ...
Where and when do we gather?
Gatherings are held once per month live on Zoom.
We gather on the last Thursday of every month at 2pm BST (UK time). Check your time here: worldtimebuddy.com
Next gathering is on Thursday, 25th June, 2026.
Do I have to prepare?
There’s no requirement to prepare.
We do send out the story in advance, for those who like to read ahead.
Do I have to speak?
Of course we'd love to hear your voice, but that's not required. Some people speak more than others, some prefer to listen. Over time, many find their own way of taking part — even if it starts with just one word.
Do I need to speak English well?
Not at all. People join from many countries and backgrounds. We encourage one another no matter how well we speak English. What matters is being present, not perfect with words. Plus we love the variety of accents. It's something that makes this space special.
Why is the circle free?
Because this is about creating a space where people can come together around story. It’s something we believe should be accessible. If you ever feel moved to support what we’re creating here, you’re welcome to do so.
Is this like therapy, teaching or coaching?
No. We don’t analyse or fix anything about each other. We simply listen, reflect, and share what the story brings up for us. People are often surprised by how much they come to understand about themselves and others in the circle.
I am especially grateful for the love, comfort and wisdom that filters through and surrounds our circle like a global virtual hug.
The circle has changed my entire mindset to believe I am a hero in my own life story.
// LINDA BALL, AUSTRALIA

I was hesitant to join because I’m not fluent in spoken English and worried I wouldn’t be understood.
But in the circle, people truly listen.
It reminded me of sitting around the fire as a child, listening to stories with warmth and connection.
If you’re worried about language, don’t be. You can do it. Trust yourself.
// EVELYN SUAREZ, PHILIPPINES
With the motivation I am becoming unstoppable.
Appreciation goes to everyone who participates in the circle.

What happens when we meet
Each month, we gather live online as a small group.
The rhythm of the circle is simple:
- One story is shared
- We listen, witness the storyteller
- We reflect with a short piece of personal writing - for your eyes only
- Those who want to share, share.
- We close the circle together
Some people speak more than others.
Some listen deeply and contribute when they're ready.
A global circle, shared humanity
One of the most meaningful parts of the Story Circle is its diversity.
People join from around the world, bringing different backgrounds, beliefs, and lived experiences into the room. There is no expectation of sameness here.
Again and again, people tell us the same thing: despite our differences, we all feel connected.
The human themes in our stories though diverse, are deeply familiar.

I am so blessed to always be given exactly what I need, and the story circle was perfect.
I admire those who shared their raw vulnerability.
Joy, love and peace to all!
// SASHA FRUGONE, USA
It is a great honor to be part of the circle. It is so amazing and awesome. I enjoyed the openness and freedom to share from experience and heart.
I enjoyed the equality and respect for one another. I enjoyed meeting people from different places and I enjoyed the secret room where we interacted with ease and respect.
// SHEILA AMANYA, UGANDA

I will never forget this moment for the rest of my life. Everyone who shared their thoughts and feelings about my story made me feel how beautiful it is to be connected with real people who listen the untold stories from a far away land and who help bring out the best in you.
Being part of the circle gives me courage to keep moving forward.

At first, it felt a little unfamiliar joining people from different ages and backgrounds, but I quickly realised how much I could learn from everyone.
The most meaningful part for me was simply listening to the story. I love it.
My children were nearby, watching and listening too. They were curious about what was happening, and later we spoke about it together.
I’m really glad I found this circle, and I look forward to sharing my own story one day.
// ANU Ranasinghe, SRI LANKA

It's a truly wonderful experience and I am grateful to have been invited to join. I can't wait for the next one.
Same, same but different reminds me of the saying 'we have more in common than we do our differences.
// sheila gosnay, cyprus

It’s a space where you can share what you feel from the depths of your heart and soul, without judgement — only genuine appreciation from people across the world.
A diverse group of people from countries from across the globe are there, everyone is made to feel that his or her opinion is sacred and their voice worth lending an ear to.
Reading my story in the circle was a real pleasure.
It’s truly uplifting, and a reminder that kindness, compassion, and empathy are still very much alive.
