The Story Circle is for people who want to go beyond reading stories and begin using story as a living, shared experience. It’s for those who value depth, presence, and meaningful connection, and who want to reflect alongside others as they shape what comes next in their own lives.
This is a space for real people, real stories, and real transformation.
Together, we use the power of story to reshape how we understand our challenges and move forward with greater clarity, purpose, and confidence.

Why This Story Circle Matters
Stories can shift how we see ourselves.
When we sit with them together, they can also change how we move forward.
Research in narrative psychology and group reflection shows that meaning deepens when stories are spoken, listened to, and explored in conversation. We don’t just understand experiences differently. We integrate them differently.
In the Story Circle, stories become more than inspiration. They become something we reflect on together, speak into, and carry into daily life. Listening to others, and being heard ourselves, helps us see our own experiences with greater clarity and perspective.
Growth doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens when stories are shared, witnessed, and allowed to breathe in conversation.
How Does a Story Circle Work?
This is an online space where a small group from around our globe come together in real time. We sit with a story from the DIL community, and consciously allow it to shape how we live our own lives.
- We gather once per month as a free Story Circle
- Each circle is held online via Zoom
- The group is intentionally small (maximum of 8 people)
- Each gathering centres on one story from the Daily Inspired Life community
- We sit with the story together and share reflections, listening attentively and speaking from our own experience
- People join from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds
- The featured story and narrative reflections are sent out in advance
- There’s no requirement to prepare – they’re shared ahead of time for those who like to know what’s coming
- English does not need to be your first language. What matters is presence and a willingness to connect

A diverse group of people from countries from across the globe are there, everyone is made to feel that his or her opinion is sacred and their voice worth lending an ear to.
Perhaps that is the reason for the beautiful smiling faces of everyone that I look forward to this session. I know whatever grief or heavy heartedness I may be experiencing earlier this virtual meeting makes me forget all those.

Through the narrative reflections and shared stories in the circle, I've come to see that while adversity makes you feel a victim, surviving makes you a hero. I truly believe the circle has changed my entire mindset to believe I am a hero in my own life story.
