When we’re facing challenges, it can feel like we’re the only ones struggling.
We look around and see everyone else going about their lives, and a sense of loneliness creeps in.
So we put on a brave face.
We smile.
We carry on.
But the truth is, we’re not alone.
Everyone is facing something, even if we can’t see it.
Amannda knows that feeling. She lived with depression.
Rather than pretending it wasn’t there, she chose to acknowledge it. To name it for what it was. And, in time, to share her story.
She found comfort in the simple act of acknowledging and writing.
And in doing so, she offered encouragement to others who might be walking a similar path.
