About the Storyteller
Christina Law is a author and creative who lives in a nursing home, navigating circumstances very different from those of many people her age. She is the author of the memoir Blessings From Within The Dark, which draws on her experiences of adversity, love and loss.
Writing has become an important way for Christina to process her experiences and express herself, while her Christian faith remains a source of strength in her life.
She also enjoys social media, diamond painting and spending time with her four beloved cats.

How did you feel when you were first invited to share your story?
Confident and emboldened.
Describe any personal benefits sharing your story has brought you.
Sharing my story is always cathartic, especially when sharing about my husband. Revisiting those times is the closest thing I have to visiting him.
I also received excellent feedback about how my story affects others, which will be helpful when I write my next book.
Were you helped by the process to develop your story?
Yes. I was helped to word the beginning in a way that would grab the reader's attention. Again, this was good practice and a learning experience for writing my next book.
Did sharing your story help you understand yourself or your writing more deeply?
It gave me insight into what I need to focus on in terms of what my readers want from my writing. I learned that my niche is mainly people with a softer side.
Did you enjoy the response you received from others in relation to your story?
I loved the responses. They gave me valuable feedback about how my story affects other people and what connects with my readers.
Did sharing your story have an impact on others in any way?
My story is so unique that I think it impacts everybody in one way or another, even those who think, “Wow! How did she go through that?” This is good in my case because it leaves people wondering and wanting to know more.
Would you recommend others share their story?
Yes. I recommend others share their story because everyone has a story that someone in this world needs to hear.
How would you describe your experience of sharing your story with Daily Inspired Life?
It was a fun experience!
