I’m Vimukthi, a first-year university student from Sri Lanka. Along my journey, I’ve made mistakes, but each one has taught me valuable life lessons. Today, I’m grateful for where I am and for everything I’ve learned.

How did you feel when you were first invited to share your story?
I was very happy and a little afraid.
Describe any personal benefits sharing your story has brought you:
I was transported back to the time when I had faced this incident. And I was reminded again and again of the lesson I had learned there.
I’m truly honoured to be part of the Daily Inspired Life community. It was such a meaningful experience to share my story, and knowing it touched hearts around the world makes me feel incredibly grateful.
The story later reached readers in China through a national exam paper, which was such a surprise. Someone even sent me a newspaper clipping where it was mentioned.
It’s exciting to see how stories can travel and inspire people across borders. Thank you again for the amazing opportunity and your continued support.
What was the greatest challenge you had sharing your story?
I didn't really have a challenge.
