What a beautiful realization, Andrea! I relate a lot to this as I have been visiting the Butterfly Exhibit here in Chicago every summer. Somehow, I attract butterflies with broken wings who gracefully sit on my hand. My first thought was “Awww, maybe they are attracted to me because they need healing!” Five years later, I realized that they came to me because there was a big part of me that was the most fragile but also the most powerful. So much wisdom in 15 secs! Thank you for sharing!

Butterflies have always held a special place for me, when my mom passed she said she would come back to me as a butterfly and I believe she did and still does.
Lovely thought! Also reminds me of the ugly duckling who grew up to be a beautiful swan. You should never underestimate a woman (or anyone for that matter).
