About the Storyteller
Hi, I'm Sushmita Saha. I am the Mother of Ayush, my seventeen-year-old son who endured traumatic brain injury. I share my story to give hope to other parents and children who are going through a tough phase of life. It's hard to deal with it at times, but love and hope can change everything.
I'm so proud of Ayush and everything he has achieved despite his challenges. Every day Ayush continues to heal and help others. As a family, we try to focus on what brings us joy. We want to give back to the community by trying to help other children.

How did you feel when you were first invited to share your story?
I felt excited.

feel that people has been inspired and hopeful .
I showed it to my son and my son realized what we went through during the ordeal
What was the greatest challenge you had sharing your story?
Telling the world the hardships and pain we had gone thorugh ,I didn't know if I was ready to share it
Were you helped in any way by the process the DIL team used to help develop your story?
Yes. The workshop showed me how to write the story.
Did sharing help you understand yourself more deeply? What were your greatest lessons?
Yes it did .It made me realize that people are supportive
Did you enjoy the response you received from others in relation to your story?
Yes I liked reading the comments. I think it inspired them.
Would you recommend others share their story?
Yes it will give rest of hope when life gets tough.
