About the Storyteller

Lizette currently managers two corporate office buildings in Atlanta. She is a Brand Marketing Influencer - Ambassador of brands in Italy, Greece and USA.

She holds a degree of Veterinarian Medicine and Zootechnic, in UNAM Mexico City. Is Certified as a Veterinarian Technician in USA. She is a Medical Interpreter in USA and speaks 3 languages - Spanish, French and English.

She is also a coach and the founder of Discovering Happiness.

What Happened After Sharing Her Story

How did you feel when you were first invited to share your story?

I was surprised Karletta Marie found something special about me. 

Describe any personal benefits sharing your story has brought you:

It has been a process of recognition of my past decisions. I changed direction of my life for "Discovering happiness".
I see now that it was an experience of life and I am proud to have the strength to give to myself the life that I want and it has let me to become a better version of myself encouraging other women.

What was the greatest challenge you had sharing your story?

I think that I was thinking so much. It's hard to open the heart and show to the rest of people. 

Were you helped in any way by the process the DIL team used to help develop your story? 

I am very grateful that Karletta helps me to realize that first I was writing with my mind and not with my heart. When I opened my heart my story became authentic. Now I am even proud to talk about it 🙂

Did sharing your story help you understand yourself more deeply?  What were your greatest lessons?

Yes, that I'm proud of my decisions and my life.  I moved on from my past decisions and redirected to Discovering happiness in my life, with work passion, helping others and face life with gratitude and joy. I have made from adversity an opportunity to write my own adventure book of my own life.

I have not realized how strong that I have been and this strength is what I can share and project to other women that need to move on of their own fear to have the life that they deserve.

Did you enjoy the response you received from others in relation to your story?

I am very glad about the comments that I have read like they are impressed, proud of me, they have shared comments that really honored me. It has been a surprise the 400 likes within just two days for my story!!!

Did your story have an impact on others in any way?

Yes absolutely. I appreciate the inbox message and their comments.

Would you recommend others share their story?

I definitely say Yes. I think that we learn from each other, we get inspired from each other, we give the strength and the Solidarity with our own experiences of life.

Anything else?

I am very grateful with God and Life that gave me this experience of life and that Karletta met me on the way and she encouraged me to write about my story and it could help other women on their way of life.
