A Glimpse Inside Our Story Circle
Once a month, a small group of people from around the world gather online for one hour. We listen to one person's story and witness our storyteller with curiosity rather than judgement. Then we reflect on the story together, exploring what it means for our own lives.
Last month, although we were only a small group, we had people joining us from ten different nations.
Ten Nations. One Circle.
Friends came in at 6am, others at 11pm from Pakistan, Cyprus, Bangladesh, the USA, Canada, Vietnam, Uganda, Israel, Australia and the Philippines.
We were quite the diverse bunch: teachers, scientists, mothers, fathers, writers, healers, published authors, speakers, business owners, community leaders... and probably a few I've missed.
You can just imagine the diversity, with so many stories, different faiths, beliefs, cultures and backgrounds.
Yet for one hour, none of that matters. We don't come together because we're the same. We come together because we're willing to listen and grow together. We come together in all our differences to listen, understand, share, and witness the power of story unfold in our Circle and in our own lives.
A special thank you to Alayana for reading in our Circle this month, and thank you to everyone helping to create such a beautiful community.
