Harvest Blessings
In my part of the world, olives are beginning to plump. It won’t be long before the locals appear with nets and sticks to shake the olives from their branches. Pomegranates are fat, ready for picking. Soon we’ll gorge on their ruby fruits. Delicious.
As we observe this season of abundance, we are reminded of the cycles we face in life. Just as farmers tend crops throughout the year; from bare trunks to blossoms to tender nubs to maturation and harvest, we too have our own journeys of growth and reward.
